Ball Screw Drive for Electromechanical Brake Booster

There is an increasing trend from conventional, vacuum-based brake systems to electromechanical solutions (E-Booster), which use a ball screw drive as a mechanical converter. These convert the rotation provided by the electric motor (small input torque) into a translation of the brake system (large output force).
